The services your vibe can talk to — GitHub, Threads, Instagram, Stripe, Zapier, Claude and ChatGPT, your calendar, YouTube and Spotify. One page each: what you can build, how it connects, and three prompts to start from.

A vibe can reach the tools you already use. Describe the app, name the service, and the builder writes the part that connects them. Each page below says what you can build, who holds the key, what the app can read and do, and gives you three prompts that build a working app in one pass.

The services

Service What your app can do How it connects
GitHub Review pull requests, sort issues, read files and commits, show a visitor's GitHub profile The vibes.diy GitHub App, or a profile connection
Threads Read a visitor's posts and publish to their feed A connection to the visitor's own account
Instagram Read a creator's posts with likes and comments, and post a photo A connection to the visitor's professional account
Stripe Sell tickets, take deposits, collect dues, run a paid membership Your own Stripe key, saved on your app
Zapier Send each new record to Slack, Google Sheets, a CRM or anywhere Zapier goes A Catch Hook URL, saved on your app
Claude and ChatGPT Make, change and ship vibes from a chat with your assistant The hosted Vibes DIY connector
Calendar Put an app's dates on Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook, kept up to date A live calendar feed your app serves
YouTube Chart a channel's subscribers and views over time Your own YouTube Data API key
Spotify Search artists, albums and tracks, and show album art Your own Spotify app credentials

Three ways an app connects

  • A connection — each visitor links their own account in one click, and the platform holds the credential. Your app has no key at all. Threads, Instagram and the GitHub profile work this way: Connect accounts.
  • Your own key — you paste a key once into your app's Settings, and your backend uses it for everyone who visits. Stripe, YouTube, Spotify and the Zapier hook work this way. The app shows you a Setup screen with the exact steps until the key is in: Your app has a backend.
  • The vibes.diy GitHub App — a person picks which of their repos your app gets, and the platform holds the credential for those repos.
