Credits: what you have, and what you're spending
Every account holds credits in two buckets. The numbers on the billing card say how much you have; the short prose beside them says what each bucket is.
The two buckets
- Monthly credits are included with every account and refill to the full grant on your subscription anniversary — the card names the date ("resets Aug 21"). Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
- Purchased credits are extras you've bought — they never expire.
When both buckets hold credits, the monthly grant is spent first.
Membership and top-ups
- Free plan: 1,000 credits a month. The only paid option is joining Vibes Plus.
- Vibes Plus ($5/month): 1,000 fresh credits every month, and members can buy more anytime — $5 for 500 credits that never expire. Top-ups are bought in $5 units, up to $100 per checkout.
- Auto-refill (optional, members): when your balance runs low, it automatically buys a preset amount — $5 by default, up to a monthly limit you choose ($25 by default). It helps you keep building; heads-up that a burst of big builds can still reach zero between refills.
- Card charges show up as "Fireproof Storage" on your statement.
If your balance reaches zero, the next build step pauses with an out-of-credits notice instead of spending ahead.
A note about your current pace
Members buying credits sometimes see one extra line under the buy button:
used 1,400 credits in the last hour
That line describes what you already spent — your actual usage over the last hour — so you can pick a pack size against your current pace. It says nothing about how long a pack will last; that depends on what you build next.
It only appears when your pace is fast enough to matter for the choice at least a $5 pack's worth per hour. When you're spending slowly, or when the recent usage can't be read, the line stays out of the way and your balances still show as normal.
